JRQ Gear is a custom apparel company based in the Huntington area of Suffolk County, New York. This page explains, in plain language, what happens to information when you use jrqgear.com.

What you send us on purpose

If you fill out the quote request form or the contact form, you give us your name, your company or organization, your email address, your phone number, and whatever order details you choose to include. If you email us a logo file, we receive that too.

We use that information to reply to you, price your job and fulfil your order. We do not sell it, rent it, or share it with anyone who is not directly helping us do those things. Our forms are delivered to us through a form service, and your message passes through it on the way to our inbox.

What gets collected automatically

Website analytics

We use Google Analytics to understand how the site is being used. It tells us things like how many people visited, which pages they looked at, roughly what region they were in, and whether they arrived from a search engine or a link. It uses cookies to do this. We see this as totals and patterns, not as a file on you.

Business visitor identification

Because we sell to businesses and organizations rather than to the general public, we also use a business visitor identification service. When someone visits from a recognizable company network, it can tell us which company that is, and which pages were viewed. This identifies companies, not individual people. It does not tell us your name, and we have not enabled any individual-level identification.

We use it for one thing: if a business looks at what we offer and does not get in touch, we may follow up with that business the way any supplier might. If you would rather we did not, email us and we will exclude your organization.

Hosting

This site is hosted by a hosting provider, which keeps standard server records of requests made to it.

Cookies

The analytics described above sets cookies in your browser. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings at any time, and the site will still work normally. Google also publishes a browser add-on that opts you out of Google Analytics entirely.

Who we share information with

Only the service providers that make the site and our business run: the form delivery service, the analytics provider, the business visitor identification service, and our hosting provider. Each handles the information under its own terms. We do not sell your information to anyone.

How long we keep things

Quote requests and order correspondence we keep as business records, because we need them to service reorders. Analytics data is retained according to the analytics provider's standard retention settings.

Your choices

• Block or clear cookies in your browser.
• Ask us to delete the details you sent through a form.
• Ask us to exclude your organization from business visitor identification.
• Ask us what we hold about you.

Children

This site is aimed at businesses and organizations. It is not directed at children and we do not knowingly collect information from them.

Changes

If we change how any of this works, we will update this page and change the date at the top.
